Joining, and the fees that are due is dependent on a number of factors and not every scenario can be listed here.

FREE Monthly Classes
The Rapattoni MLS Class goes over the basics of the Fresno MLS and lasts approximately 2 ½ hours.
The Zipform Class shows you how to navigate this CAR software program, which provides you with all of the CAR standard transactional forms. This class lasts approximately 1 hour. Zipform is a program that is only available to members of CAR.
The Digital Ink & ZipVault Class shows you how to use the electronic signature and file storage features available to you through the zipForm6 Program. This class lasts approximately 1 hour.
The CRS Data Class explains features of the county tax records that can be accessed through the MLS. This class lasts approximately 1 hour.
The REALTORS Property Resource Class (RPR) provides REALTORS® with data on over 147 million parcels of property in the United States. This class lasts approximately 1½ hours.

New Member Orientation: Once a month we offer an Orientation class to our new Members. In order to be considered a REALTOR® Member in Good Standing, REALTOR® Members are required to attend Orientation. In addition, in order to be eligible for Health Insurance through CAR, REALTOR® Members are required to attend Orientation. Fresno MLS Only Members are also required to attend.
New REALTOR® and Fresno MLS Members who attend Orientation within the first 90 days of joining will receive a refund of their Orientation Deposit.
During the Orientation Class new members will meet some of the Directors, go over the FAR Bylaws, the MLS Rules & Regulations, watch a short video on Anti-Trust Compliance, as well as an Ethics Video Mandated by NAR. Lunch is provided. Orientation takes place from 8:30am-2:30pm on the scheduled weekdays, unless otherwise notified. Please contact the FAR office to register as seating is limited. (559) 490-6400.
To receive 3 DRE credits for watching the Ethics video, new members can return to the FAR office on any Tuesday afternoon at 2pm and take the Ethics test. The cost is $18.00. (The 3 credits goes toward your 4 year license renewal)

Transnational Referral Certification
The goal of this certification offered by the International Consortium of Real Estate Associations (ICREA) is to prepare real estate professionals to make and receive compensated referrals using the Transnational Referral system developed by the International Consortium of Real Estate Associations (ICREA).
