Tuesday Morning Preview/Caravan Meetings
Join us every Tuesday Morning at the FAR Office, from 8:30am-10:00am. Each week we have a featured speaker and opportunities for our Affiliate Members to plug their services, as well as drawings to win a free ad in the REALTOR® Showcase published by the Fresno Bee. The homes on Caravan/Home Tour are held open on Wednesdays from 10:00am-12:00noon.
FREE Monthly Classes
The Rapattoni MLS Class goes over the basics of the Fresno MLS and lasts approximately 2 ½ hours.
The Zipform6 Class shows you how to navigate this CAR software program, which provides you with all of the CAR standard transactional forms. This class lasts approximately 1 hour. Zipform is a program that is only available to members of CAR.
The Digital Ink & ZipVault Class shows you how to use the electronic signature and file storage features available to you through the zipForm6 Program. This class lasts approximately 1 hour.
The Realist Tax Records Class explains features of the county tax records that can be accessed through the MLS. This class lasts approximately 1 hour.
The REALTORS Property Resource Class (RPR) provides REALTORS® with data on over 147 million parcels of property in the United States. This class lasts approximately 1½ hours.
Each of these classes begins at 2:30pm on the scheduled day.

New Member Orientation: Twice a month we offer an Orientation class to our new Members. In order to be considered a REALTOR® Member in Good Standing, Board Members are required to attend Orientation. In addition, in order to be eligible for Health Insurance through CAR, Board Members are required to attend Orientation. MLS Only Members are also required to attend.
New members who attend Orientation within the first three months of joining will receive a refund of $100.
During the Orientation Class new members will meet some of the Directors, go over the FAR Bylaws, the MLS Rules & Regulations, watch a short video on Anti-Trust Compliance, as well as an Ethics Video Mandated by NAR. Lunch is provided. Orientation takes place from 10am-4pm on the scheduled weekdays, and 9am-3pm on the scheduled Saturdays, unless otherwise notified. To receive 3 DRE credits for watching the Ethics video, new members can return to the FAR office on any Tuesday afternoon at 2pm and take the Ethics test. The cost is $18.00. (The 3 credits goes toward your 4 year license renewal)
Clerical User Training & Certification Class
As per the Board of Directors this class is now an annual requirement for Clerical Users who have access to the MLS. Any new Clerical Users must take the training within 30 days of attaining MLS access or their access will be terminated. Classes are being held once a month at the FAR Office. Please see our calendar for a schedule of classes, or call FAR at (559) 490-6400 for more details.
Once Clerical Users have attended this class, a yearly Renewals class is required to maintain MLS access.
